It is a herbivorous animal belonging to the order Artiodactyla, family Oxidae, and genus Gazelle. It inhabits mountains, hills, and coastal plains. Heat and drought resistance, group activity, usually in small groups of 3-8, active at dawn and dusk, is a typical herbivore.
